Vale Vipers - Love My Club Member

We are one of the premier youth Basketball clubs in Wales.  Based in the Vale of Glamorgan and home to over 130 boys and girls, ages 7 to 18, with 10 teams that range from Under 8’s to Senior Men’s.  Our teams compete in the South Wales Basketball Association leagues. We are also one of the few clubs in Wales to offer a Basketball England National League programme, with teams in the U16 and U18 men’s divisions.

The clubs Vision is to engage with the young people, providing them with a positive and educational experience. and with a mission to teach, develop, organise, manage, and offer players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, teamwork, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

Club programme exposes and offers players a high level of competition while developing fundamental basketball skills. Player development is stressed and disciplined; team-oriented play is emphasised. Practice time and advanced training are provided to enhance the skills of each player with the end goal being to make them a better player.

The club is open to players of all school years and all ability levels.
